When I first started the Nugtopia series with OG Kush, my initial goal was to create weed art that people could relate to and use themselves to help push the ignorance out of the industry…It has grown into so much more since then. I have made so many life long relationships with people and organizations like Regulate Florida and Cannamoms… I get to help pave the way for the cannabis art industry… what more could you ask for
My Story
Intro
They say writers see their work as art, and it is. I see my Art as Life… MY Life. The pieces I create are my truest interpretations of my personal seeing, thinking, feeling, breathing, Real LIFE! My name is Kole Trent, and I want You to know Me and why I created the weed art world of Nugtopia… I am a young artist born in 1996, who grew up primarily, and still resides in Florida. Growing up in Cocoa Beach, my first love quickly became surfing. At age 16 I picked up my first paint brush and set my heart and eyes upon a blank canvas. With the waves still under my board, and a paintbrush in hand, I have merged these two loves into the life I am currently living and sharing with you through every piece of art I create.
The pieces I create come from so deep within me that define them as the very essence of Who I am. I have been blessed with many gifts in Life, but the gift I cherish most is the gift I’ve termed “True sight”. I see the true beauty of this world through vibrant colors, the magnificence of nature, through Love and Peace that can and does exist if we embrace it, through kindness and serenity, through lightness of heart and soul, through smiles passed amongst us. This kaleidoscope of Life is what I put into every wave I ride, and every brushstroke that touches my canvas. I would love nothing more than to continue to give back to those in need and continue bringing light to this dark world. This is not only my life’s passion and work… This is Me… Great to meet you!

Nugtopia
What is Nugtopia? Weed art, cannabis art, marijuana art. It doesn’t matter what you call it, as-long-as you understand the story of its genesis. When I created Nugtopia my goal was to push the taboo out of the cannabis industry with my new world of weed art. I want a reason for everyone to smile and to think of it as a healing plant rather than a drug. The best way I could express my push for medicinal cannabis was to paint the most relatable strains. I transform them into “Nug” characters like OG Kush and Wonder Woman OG. My passion for the medicinal cannabis industry came when our mother was diagnosed with benign nodules in her breast tissue. Breast cancer runs deep in our family and our mom had lost her mom to breast cancer at a young age. Initially it was hard convincing my mother that this “drug” was so helpful. With a little love, patience, and weed art I was able to convince our mother to at least try. So, with this new diagnosis, our mom went out to some Colorado for a little while and was being treated with a concentrated form of cannabis. When she went in the hospital to do the extraction surgery, the surgeons searched for over an hour to find nothing but grains of sand that the tumors had shrunk down to. A miracle happened all due to a cannabis plant! Our mother’s story isn’t the only one out there, so please take some time and educate yourself on the beneficial medicinal properties of cannabis. What is OG Kush?
OG Kush was first cultivated in Florida, in the early ‘90s when a strain from Northern California was crossed with a Hindu Kush plant from Amsterdam. The result was a hybrid with a unique terpene profile that boasts a complex aroma with notes of fuel, skunk, and spice.
The genetic backbone of West Coast cannabis varieties, OG Kush arrived in Los Angeles in 1996 when Matt “Bubba” Berger brought it (along with “The Bubba,” which was later used to create the famed Bubba Kush) from Florida to legendary cultivator Josh D. What is Girl Scout Cookies?
GSC, formerly known as Girl Scout Cookies, is an OG Kush and Durban Poison hybrid cross whose reputation grew too large to stay within the borders of its California homeland. What is Skywalker OG?
Skywalker OG, also known as “Skywalker OG Kush” to many members of the cannabis community, is an indica dominant hybrid (85% indica/15% sativa) strain that is a potent cross between the hugely popular Skywalker X OG Kush strains.
